Grand Ole BBQ began as a catering company. GOB was created to fill the serious void of REAL BBQ in southern California. Sure we all know of some decent BBQ from local corporate giants but most of y'all have never had what GOB is going to serve you. Honest to God serious wood smoked handcrafted artisan BBQ. Smoked on a real BBQ Pit that was hand built in the great state of Georgia.

We now have our first outdoor restaurant on the corner of Thorn & 32nd Street. We start at the crack of dawn and open at noon. You can come by for lunch at noon or dinner at 5:30 - 8:30 or sellout whichever comes first. Or come in Sunday for Argentine style BBQ noon to 6 pm.

So if you think you would like to have some of the moistest, juicy, tender, smokey BBQ in San Diego come to see us.

Also if that was not enough for Y'all, GOB only uses the highest grade of meat that is always certified humane.

Andy spent over 20 years honing his barbecue skills - from buying his first smoker at 20 years old to test out all the best BBQ at all the best BBQ joints in Kansas City, Memphis, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.
